While this trail features some historic buildings similar to those found on other trails, the park's highlight is the natural beauty of the riverside and the calming sounds of the flowing creek. 5. C&O Canal Trail: Whites Ferry to Edwards Ferry Hopping over to the other side of the river, we have the C&O Canal Trail. This 10-mile trail between Whites Ferry and Edwards Ferry offers the natural and historical experience of our previous trails but sees far less traffic.
