Christmas Joy - Jennifer M.

This Holiday Season Dulles Subaru was given the opportunity to make the season brighter for three teenagers at our local homeless shelter, young people who have faced more than their fair share of challenges yet still carry hope for something joyful. When the wish list arrived our team did not see items, we saw dreams, personalities, and the simple desires all teens hold close. Dulles Subaru made sure every wish was fulfilled with thought, respect, and care. On delivery day, for a moment the weight of the world felt lighter, replaced with laughter surprise and the magic that only the holiday season can bring. This wasn't about the gifts, this was about reminding these teens that they are seen, valued, and deeply cared for. This christmas, we were honored to be part of their story, and even more grateful to true spirit of the season love, kindness, and hope.

Urgent need at local homeless shelter - Jennifer M.

As the cold set in earlier and harsher this year our local shelter shared an urgent message that to many neighbors were arriving with little more than hope to keep them warm through the nights ahead. Hearing that need our team came together immediately. One by one gently used coats were donated each one a small act of care each one carrying warmth far beyond the fabric itself. within days boxes were filled, hearts were full, and a shared purpose united us. We delivered the coats knowing they would do more than block the cold they would offer comfort, dignity, and a reminder that this community looks out for one another. This season warmth isnt just something you wear, its something you give.

Dulles Motorcars Subaru Saves the Lives of Homeless Pets - Alison M.

Dulles Motorcars Subaru partnered with Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) once again this year for the Subaru Loves Pets program. This marks our second year working together, and it was an incredible success. Through this partnership, FOHA received a generous $12,000 grant to help ensure every animal is adoption-ready, including providing microchips and vaccines for those who were due. We hosted a fantastic adoption event at the dealership on October 18, 2025. Two cats were adopted on the spot, with seven additional adoptions pending. To celebrate the partnership, all adoption fees were waived from October 17 to October 19. In total, 17 animals were adopted directly through the Subaru partnership weekend, and 45 animals found homes throughout the month as part of Subaru Loves Pets. The Subaru team was wonderful to work with, engaged and enthusiastic, and dedicated to creating excitement around the event. We are thrilled with this partnership and look forward to continuing it in the future!

Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Leesburg, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Dulles Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Subaru loves to Care - Jennifer M.

Approximately every three minutes, a person in the U.S. is diagnosed with leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma. The recovery can be long and often leaves patients feeling weak, cold, and isolated. That’s why for the past 10 years, Subaru and its retailers like us have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. During the month of June, as part of the Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Dulles Subaru is partnering with LLS and our local hospital INOVA Loudoun hospital to give warm blankets and encouraging messages of hope written by Dulles Subaru employees and our customers to support patients facing cancer. Through the LLS Urgent Need Pediatric and Young Adult Program, Dulles Subaru is also providing 5 pediatric blood cancer patient households financial relief to help offset non-medical costs associated with treatment, such as transportation, food, housing, utilities, etc. Dulles Subaru loves to care, and we show it by providing warmth, love, and support to cancer patients and their families in our community.

Dulles Subaru Donates $15,000 to Support Local Breast Cancer Patients - Chantel S.

Through Subaru’s Share the Love® Event, Dulles Subaru made a generous $15,000 donation to Loudoun Breast Health Network (LBHN). This gift will directly touch the lives of those in our community who are battling breast cancer. LBHN is extremely grateful for this support. These funds will allow us to expand our financial assistance program for local breast cancer patients, helping to ease some of the overwhelming burdens they face during treatment. Whether it’s covering rent, utilities, medical expenses, transportation, or groceries, this donation means many patients can focus on healing instead of financial stress. We applaud and thank Dulles Subaru and Subaru of America for their continued commitment to giving back and making a real difference. Dulles Subaru Host Loudoun County Highschoolers - Jennifer M.

On March 26th Dulles Subaru Hosted Students from Loudoun County Highschool to tour our facility. The students came in to learn about the car buying process as well as the job opportunities for students right out of high school. First stop was our service facility where the students got to meet our service and parts director Omid, He gave the students some background on his 15-year journey at Dulles Subaru and how he started out washing vehicles and worked his way up to the parts and service director. Next Omid took the students to observe technicians working on vehicles, they were able to ask questions and watched as our service advisors and valets checked in customers just getting an overall feel of how the service department operates. We stopped after to our parts department where Parts advisor Ashley and Toby explained how ordering parts work the different job positions in the parts department, and they explained what a vin number was. Next stop was a tour of our sales department. Victor and Shaun in sales explained how the process works with purchasing a vehicle, the documents needed, purchase requirements, and all the ins and outs of working as a salesman. Shaun went over the window sticker and explained the features on a new Subaru. Greg in our finance office explained the different ways you can buy a vehicle and what he does on a day-to-day basis the students asked him a lot of questions and were very interactive. Lastly, we gathered to give the students some refreshments, answer any last-minute questions and thank them for coming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for the Loudoun County Highschoolers and our entire staff here at Dulles Subaru.

New coats/shoes/socks for Loudoun Shelter House - Jennifer M.

Today Dulles Subaru had the pleasure to volunteer with some of our homeless community at our Local Loudoun Homeless shelter. We dropped off 504 new coats, new shoes, and new socks. So many kind folks came out to help us unload this big delivery that will be part of an even bigger event tomorrow when our local children receive their new coats and shoe. Dulles Subaru hopes to provide comfort, hope, and confidence for our youth in need. Imagine having to go without a coat when you need it the most. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and urgent need situations across the country and even here in Leesburg this can be a harsh reality. Helping others is the key to a strong community, which is why Dulles Subaru believes in helping to support individuals and family's in urgent need with new coats and shoes. These essential items not only helps keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can also have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.

Ms. Jenckes was not ready to say goodbye to her 2002 Subaru Impreza - Jennifer M.

Ms. Jenckes is in her 80s and she drives a 2002 Impreza. I met her back in 2012, and she has been my customer ever since. She moved to MD about 10 years ago, and it now takes her over an hour to get here. She always expressed that she loves us, trusts us, and wants to come here for every service, but it was just so far. She also expressed how she loves her Subaru and this is her last car, so she needs it to last her. She always spoke about how beautiful the car was when she saw it in a showroom, and she had to have it. She reached out early October crying. She told me she was involved in an accident and that she was okay, but her car is damaged very badly. She was very hard to understand and just needed some advice. I spoke to her for awhile and asked her to wait for insurance company to respond and let me know if she needed help. She called a few days later. She was very sad. The repair estimate was over $10k so they totaled her car. They were offering her $2K, but because she had been so sad and heartbroken, they decided to up it to $4K. She told me she wants to keep her car and was begging for help, so I offered to get the car here and see if I could help. She couldn't purchase another reliable Subaru for less than $5k. The car was towed here after a few days, and we got to work. It was bad, needed over $10k of work and the biggest problem was 60% of the repair parts were no longer available. I knew it would mean a lot if we could deliver, so I spoke to staff and to look for every option. I reached out to Subaru for assistance on the parts available and it was denied. Mensud said I will help boss, just get me parts, Toby researched and said he can get a Japanese frontend in a few days, it will fit but it will look sportier, Liana agreed to assist with parts pricing, and next thing you know we had a plan. I called her and explained how and how much. She was in tears and said it was a miracle and had high hopes. She was so happy that we were able to save her car. We were able to keep it for less than $4,800.00. We shared the news, and she was thrilled. She is away but requested pictures so she can share with her family over thanksgiving. She is still out of state, but she calls every few days and says "Omid, I can't believe it. It's a miracle. It looks better than when I got it!" and that she is still working on getting a ride back to MD to come pick up her car.

Subaru Cashier Erin Dooley Saved a Life - Jennifer M.

We had a customer come by to pay for his 2011 Impreza service bill, and when he walked up, he appeared out of breath and flustered. At first, I attributed it to the cold air and wind, but as he appeared more confused, I knew something wasn’t right. Being concerned about his health, I checked with the customer to see if he was feeling alright, and he struggled to speak clearly or make a complete sentence. I walked him over to a chair so he could sit down, and I called 911. While on the phone with the dispatcher, my coworker Selena and I followed instructions and completed the F.A.S.T (Face, Arms, Speech, Time) stroke test. Our other coworker Zenia continued by covering our positions while we were assisting the customer. A few minutes later, the emergency crew arrived, and he was immediately loaded into the ambulance and taken to the hospital. I was so thankful I knew the warning signs of a stroke, and a team to help me assist the customer. A few days later, a lady walked into the cashier's office with a big bottle of bourbon and said, “You ladies saved my father's life. He is 91 years old and currently at Fairfax Hospital recovering from a stroke. Doctors told us that we should be grateful to the people that acknowledge and react fast to save his life. This bottle is all I have in my car and please take it as a thank you.” She requested for us keep his car until his return, and the management had no issue with doing that. The dealership management recognized my effort and as gratitude gave me multiple Subaru swag. Choosing to work here and owning a Subaru is a no-brainer, everyone is treated like family. I am grateful to be part of a company and a brand that cares and shows it. Our record showed he had been coming here for every single service on his Subaru since 2011. At this point, everyone knew about him and was wondering what happened and how soon we would be able to see him. About 2 weeks later, Mr. Gochnauer came in to pick up his car. We were very happy and excited to see him, and he had a big smile on his face. He was very thankful for what we had done and happy to get back to his normal life.

Mr. Blakeney at Evergreen Elementary school - Jennifer B.

I would like to say in person how much I appreciate Dulles Subaru and the Subaru company for supporting my classroom. I can't wait to have the opportunity to support my students with materials such as pencils, binders, folders, etc that I would not ordinarily be able to purchase because of Dulles Subaru's generosity. I know that my students and all the students Dulles Subaru supported in all 6 classrooms will appreciate this generosity as well, as they will have the opportunity to do and use things that they otherwise might not have had. Just having more opportunities as a teacher and as students, which as we all know can mean a world of difference in someone's life, because experiences both academic and social go well beyond what I can teach and do for my students in a classroom setting. Thank you again to Dulles Subaru, Subaru, and AdoptAClassroom.org I really cannot wait to use the generous $500 you supplied for my classroom!!

Dulles Subaru Loves Learning - Jennifer B.

For the Subaru Loves learning Month Dulles Subaru was very busy getting to know the students in our community. We even attended a local Highschool Football teams tailgate party. This year we were able to adopt 6 classrooms where we supplied all the students with supply kits including all the supplies they will need this school year and some fun items as well such as stickers and fidget poppers!! Getting the opportunity to go to evergreen elementary school and dropping these items off and meeting the principle and teachers was such a joy, they shared how these program has really helped their students. We look forward to next years love learning event!!

testimony from Mrs. Fangio about our partnership with Evergreen Elementary for Subaru Loves Learning - Jennifer B.

I apologize for the late response- as you can imagine the past few days have been a whirlwind with school starting! I did receive the supply box and was so surprised! Thank you for all the extra goodies! I was already able to use some of the supplies for a new student who came in with nothing- his smile when I handed him all the brand-new markers, crayons etc. was priceless! I was so extremely grateful when I learned I had been selected for Subaru loves learning! It is my 6th year teaching, and a lot of the supplies and items I inherited from retired teachers when I began have been worn out. In particular, I had to dispose of many flexible seating options this past year as they were broken or used way beyond their prime. As you can imagine, flexible seating is one of the more expensive aspects of a classroom. I teach an inclusive classroom, so I typically have high needs students that require as many different options for seating around the room as possible. The donation from Subaru means some of the most vulnerable students at Evergreen Mill will have access to what they need in order to have a higher probability of success! Additionally, all the students who come into my room will find a safe, inclusive and positive environment in which they can thrive. Thank you so much for the generosity and care from Subaru- it is awesome that the company looks after the schools in their respective communities! Thank you again, Melissa Fangio (Evergreen Mill ES)

HART is Thankful for Dulles Subaru - Kim R.

On a sunny Friday afternoon this October, Dulles Subaru opened their showroom to Homeless Animals Rescue Team. Our team, along with a few of our adoptable kittens, puppies, and dogs, received a very warm welcome. HART is incredibly fortunate to have a connection with a truly animal rescue-minded team. Many of their customers made a point of stopping by to learn more about our mission and to spend time with our rescue animals. It was an absolutely fantastic time for us all. What made the day even better was seeing the very special connection between a family looking to adopt, and a puppy named Ivy, who was in need of her forever home. Ivy seemed to know that the family was there to meet her, and she gave them so many kisses and tail wags that it was apparent that this was a love story in the making! And indeed, this family officially adopted Ivy soon afterwards-a true happily-ever-after story that was made possible with the support of Dulles Subaru!

Dulles Subaru Loves Teachers - Laila A.

This August, Dulles Subaru proudly adopted six classrooms at Evergreen Mill Elementary School in Leesburg, VA. This was our first year partnering with this school. What makes this sponsorship even more special is that we have staff with children who attend the school! This year our sponsorship included a $3,000 donation for the classrooms to purchase STEM supplies. Additionally, each teacher received a $500 credit from AdoptAClassroom.org to purchase much needed supplemental materials for their classrooms. Throughout the month staff & customers wrote encouraging messages to the teachers that will be sent to the school at the end of the month. Daniel Lani, Principle at Evergreen Mill Elementary said via voicemail, “We greatly appreciate your partnership and allowing us to continue to provide an outstanding educational program for our students.” Dulles Subaru staff are looking forward to future opportunities to work with the school!
